Did you ever figure out what "champu" meant?
Yes, we did! "Champu" turned out to be "Jump" - at least we're pretty sure. We often say "1, 2, 3, jump!" when jumping Fiona over the baby gate, and we think Nora picked it up from there. I'm not sure whether this is the whole story, though, because it seems to me that the level of abstraction between seeing Fiona jump and then making her cup jump by holding it above her head might be too much ... but then, the brain cells are developing at an astounding rate at her age, so maybe.
