Catching up

Yesterday we whiled away an entire easy, comfortable afternoon with the family of a friend of Fiona's from her previous daycare. It was a glorious day, so while the girls did share some books and enjoy a tea party inside while waiting for Nora to awaken from her nap; as soon as we could we took it to the backyard for some serious snacking and scampering during the remainder of the afternoon. It was delightful to laugh and run and hug the neck of a favorite friend of Fiona's since she was two years old.

Ah, friendship and springtime. Does it get better than that?
